Mother’s Day 2027 is Sunday, May 9. It is seven months away and no Holly Springs restaurant or venue had posted a 2027 Mother’s Day menu or event when we checked. Here is what the town’s brunch and tea spots publish about Sunday service and booking, plus the weekend’s regular options. We add Mother’s Day specials as venues post them.

What this means for you

• Book early: Pimiento Tea Room takes Sunday reservations only, 30 days ahead, about April 9 for Mother’s Day.
• Saturday, May 8: the farmers market is open 8 a.m. to noon.
• Outdoors: Bass Lake Park and Sugg Farm are open daily; boat rentals start Memorial Day.

Sunday brunch and tea

Nightingale is a rooftop restaurant and bar on The Block on Main. For Father’s Day 2026 it served a special brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a curated menu and a kids menu, according to its event calendar; a Mother’s Day 2027 event had not been posted.

Pimiento Tea Room is in a renovated historic home in the Village District. Its Sunday Funday is a three-tiered service of scones, savories and sweets with a small soup and salad. Its reservation rules: bookings open 30 days ahead to the hour, the largest party is six, separate reservations are seated separately, and Sunday tea needs a deposit that is refunded if you cancel at least 48 hours ahead.

Gifts and markets

The Holly Springs Farmers Market is one of the area’s few year-round markets, open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon outside the Cultural Center, 300 W. Ballentine St., with more than 40 vendors on a typical Saturday, according to its market page. Its vendor list shows who sells what.

Spring events around Mother’s Day (2026 details)

The town has not posted its May 2027 events. Around Mother’s Day 2026 it held:

• Live at the Springs with Vertical Horizon, a ticketed concert at the North Main Athletic Complex stadium, Saturday, May 9, 2026, the day before Mother’s Day, according to the town’s concert page.
• Wild About Nature, a free family nature event with live animals at Sugg Farm, 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026, according to the event page.

Each is marked with its 2026 date; we will replace them with 2027 dates when the town posts them.

Outdoors with Mom

• Bass Lake Park, 900 Bass Lake Road, is open 8 a.m. to sunset. The 1.9-mile Lake Trail starts behind the visitor center. Boat rentals start Memorial Day.
• Sugg Farm, 2401 Grigsby Ave., is open 7 a.m. to sunset, with a quarter-mile sensory trail and the nature play area for young children.
