Nightingale Rooftop Restaurant & Bar

Nightingale sits on the roof of The Block on Main downtown. Its website lists Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; the restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday and serves dinner Wednesday through Saturday. It describes its food as “new American cuisine with southern roots” and says its menu changes frequently and seasonally, with a sample brunch menu online. Reservations are taken through the website.

In summer 2026 Nightingale ran a monthly Sing-A-Long Brunch on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a DJ and tickets sold in advance, according to its event calendar. New dates appear on the same calendar.

Pimiento Tea Room

Pimiento Tea Room is a tea room in a renovated historic home at 200 N. Main St. Its website lists hours of 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, closed Monday.

  • Brunch menu: the food menu for Tuesday to Saturday includes a brunch section available until 4 p.m., with dishes such as shrimp and grits, a frittata and toasts on multigrain or a gluten-free corn tostada. Scones are baked daily.
  • Sunday Funday: a three-tiered service of scones, savories and sweets with a small soup and salad, at $35 a seat, drinks extra. Seatings are at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m., about 90 minutes each, by reservation only, according to its Sunday page.
  • Booking: reservations open 30 days ahead to the hour; the largest party is six; Sunday seats need a deposit, refunded on cancellations at least 48 hours ahead. Weekday tables are first come, first served, with reservations from 5 p.m.

Flying Biscuit Cafe

The Holly Springs Flying Biscuit Cafe is at Oakview Commons, 161 Oakview Commons Drive, Suite 105. The chain’s locations page lists it as open, with hours of 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Phone: 919-335-5851.

  • Parking downtown: the town’s public parking map shows lots near Main Street. The Block on Main says there is parking behind the building and on the lower level of the deck across the street.
