Easter is Sunday, March 28, 2027, early in the spring, and it falls at the start of the Wake County schools’ spring break. The town’s egg hunts come with Spring Fling; in 2026 it was held two weeks before Easter. The 2027 date is not out yet, so this page shows the 2026 details, marked by year. We add the new dates as soon as the town posts them.

Spring Fling egg hunts (2026 details)

The town’s Spring Fling page described the 2026 event:

The 2027 Spring Fling date had not been announced on Oct. 11. We will not guess it; this table will be replaced with the 2027 details when the town posts them.

Easter brunch

Restaurants post Easter menus in March. We list an Easter brunch only once the restaurant puts it on its own website. Two downtown restaurants publish regular Sunday service:

  • Nightingale Rooftop Restaurant & Bar, 300 S. Main St., Suite 312, lists Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on its website. 919-299-2004.
  • Pimiento Tea Room, 200 N. Main St., serves a Sunday tiered service of soup, salad, scones, savories and sweets by reservation only, with seatings at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m., at $35 a seat with drinks extra, according to its Sunday page. Reservations open 30 days ahead, so Easter Sunday opens about Feb. 26. 984-225-4213.

  • School: WCPSS traditional-calendar spring break is March 29 to April 2, 2027, after the Good Friday holiday, according to the district’s 2026-27 calendar. Camps and things to do that week: spring break in Holly Springs.
  • Festival of Legends comes to Sugg Farm April 24-25, 2027, with a free preview evening April 23, according to the festival’s website.
