Burgers in Holly Springs cluster at Holly Springs Towne Center on Grand Hill Place and along GB Alford Highway and Village Walk Drive near N.C. 55 Bypass. Downtown has two more, on South Main Street and West Center Street, and Sonic is on Cayman Avenue off North Main Street.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Holly Springs town limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026, and against the U.S. Census Bureau’s town boundary. We added Hickory Tavern, My Way Tavern, Shake Shack and Smashed Burgers & Cocktails from Wake County’s restaurant permit records and kept them because their own sites give a Holly Springs street address. Shake Shack’s site blocked our checker, so its hours come from the latest saved copy of its own page, from February 2026. The list is alphabetical. The places

Corbett’s Burgers & Soda Bar on GB Alford Highway is the Holly Springs branch of a small North Carolina chain. Its site says it uses a fresh Angus butcher’s blend of chuck, round and sirloin, makes its slaw, pimento cheese, chili and sauces in house, and sells hot dogs and sodas. Its site does not list Sunday hours or a Holly Springs phone number.

Hickory Tavern on Village Walk Drive is a sports tavern. Its site describes a daily specials lineup that runs from wings to burgers, with a different special each day.

Mellow Mushroom on Collins Crossing Road is a pizza restaurant that lists burgers alongside its stone-baked pizzas, wings and salads, with patio seating.

My Way Tavern on West Center Street downtown lists burgers and hot dogs with its wings, loaded potatoes and sandwiches. It has 22 beers on tap and is open until midnight daily.

Shake Shack at Holly Springs Towne Center is the burger chain’s Holly Springs restaurant; it received its county permit in February 2026. Its page lists dine-in service.

Smashed Burgers & Cocktails at 242 S. Main St. downtown calls itself a local, family-owned restaurant serving smashed burgers. Its menu adds chicken, wings, salads, sides and craft cocktails, with online ordering.

Sonic on Cayman Avenue is the drive-in chain’s Holly Springs restaurant. Its page lists a drive-thru, delivery and online ordering, open until midnight every night.

Wendy’s at Holly Springs Towne Center lists a drive-thru open the same hours as the restaurant, kids’ meals, mobile ordering and Wi-Fi.

Burger King at 851 Village Walk Drive, McDonald’s at 7100 GB Alford Highway, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers at 221 Grand Hill Place and Town Hall Burger & Beer at 301 Matthews Drive all hold Wake County permits and were inspected this year, but their sites blocked our checker, so they are not in the table until we can confirm their hours.
